College Week - 2023 Alert!

On the occasion of National Youth Day 2023 and the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Jorhat-Sivasagar branch of the Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari organised a celebration programme in the campus of Devi Charan Barua Girls' College, Jorhat. In collaboration with IQAC, Students' Union, NCC Unit & Study Circle of the college, the programme was held at the seminar hall from 10:30 AM. A special talk on the "role of value education in promoting excellence of individual life" was given by Dr. Jogesh Changmai who is a faculty of the Department of Education at the college. Along with speeches from a few prominent individuals, songs and dances were presented by NCC cadets. A prayer was performed by members of the Kendra.

It was an intellectual programme which served as a humble tribute to the memory and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
