A Felicitation ceremony was organized today at the academy by Japan Karate Association of India, Assam in collaboration with Jorhat Rehabilitation Foundation (Way of Hope) to congratulate the state team medalists of Jorhat of the recently concluded KIO National Karate Championship 2025 held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Various eminent personalities of Jorhat including Mr. Sidhanku Ankur Baruah (Youth leader and State Secretary, BJP Assam), Mr. Rahul Sharma (District Sports Officer, Jorhat) and Dr. Bolin Khargharia (Renowned Doctor) were present in the meeting.

The medalists were warmly felicitated with an appreciation certificate, a book and a tshirt.

We would like to thank all our students, parents, members and well-wishers for the active cooperation in organizing this event in the best possible way!

29 athletes of JKAI Assam represented the State team at the 4th KIO National Junior, Cadet and Sub-Junior Karate Championship 2025 held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 12th to 15th June 2025 and secured 6 gold🥇2 silver🥈 and 3 bronze medals.

Great start to the year!💫

Our champs fought valiantly at the recently concluded 8th Jorhat District Karate Championship 2025 and bagged 27 gold🥇14 silver🥈 and 8 bronze medals 🥉altogether.
The medalists have been selected for the Upper Assam Zonal Karate Championships to be held in the month of March.
We congratulate all our champs for starting the year on a successful note!❤️
