Springdale High School bagged the 1st prize in the Cultural Competition along with 4 awards for different categories viz. Overall Best Performance by a School, Best Cultural Dance, Best Tribute to the state Icon Zubeen Garg and Best Actress Award to Trahitra of Class X, in the Assam Book Fair 2025 held in Jorhat. Congratulations to the group of students who represented our school with their incredible performances and the entire team for their dedication in making Springdale proud.

The Inter-School Quiz Competition titled “Scholars’ Quest” was conducted successfully today at our School. The event aimed to promote academic excellence, stimulate curiosity, and nurture a healthy competitive spirit among students from various institutions.

Many school have participated in the competition. The event was conducted by the Quiz Master Mr. Akhil Ranjan Baruah, Associate Professor,Department of Biotechnology, along with Mrs. Priyadarshini Bharali, In-charge of Study Circle, AAU whose guidance and smooth coordination added value to the programme.

Art & Craft Exhibition was organized on 8th November 2025 to showcase and display the art & craft work of Kindergarten & Primary Kids assisted by the teachers and their parents.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shilpika Bordoloi, National Awardee 2023 from Assam in the field of Movies, Art & Culture.

SDSSMUN’25 – Diplomacy Beyond Borders

The inaugural edition of the SDSS Model United Nations 2025 (SDSSMUN’25) concluded with resounding success, establishing itself as one of the biggest and most successful MUN conferences of 2025 in the Assam ,Jorhat circuit. With the theme “Diplomacy Beyond Borders,” the event embodied the true spirit of collaboration, intellect, and youth leadership.

The conference recorded an impressive total attendance of over 300+.The SDSS campus came alive with energy and enthusiasm, as young minds engaged in meaningful debates on global, national, and regional issues.
The Executive Board featured some of Assam’s most experienced and reputed MUNers, hailing from Guwahati, Sivasagar, Tezpur, and Duliajan, who brought immense professionalism and insight to every committee, ensuring high-quality deliberations throughout the conference.

Committees of SDSSMUN’25

The first edition of SDSSMUN’25 successfully hosted seven dynamic and intellectually driven committees, each designed to foster leadership, diplomacy, and critical thinking:
• UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council): Addressed global human rights concerns with empathy and intellect.
• UNSC (United Nations Security Council): Focused on international peace, conflict resolution, and global security.
• AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet): Brought Indian politics to life through spirited and solution-driven debates.
• AVS (Assam Vidhan Sabha): Encouraged impactful regional policymaking and state-level governance discussions.
• IPC PJ (International Press – Photojournalists): Captured the diplomatic spirit through compelling visual storytelling.
• IPC J (International Press – Journalists): Delivered analytical and articulate coverage of committee proceedings.
• IPC C (International Press – Caricature): Added creativity and satire to diplomacy through expressive art and humor.
Each committee witnessed intense, well-researched discussions and inspiring leadership, earning praise from all Executive Board members. Delegates demonstrated exceptional debating skills, diplomacy, and teamwork reflecting the true essence of youth-driven change.

Prayer service held at school in memory of the beloved state hero Zubeen Garg. His untimely death will leave our society as a whole in a void. May his soul Rest in Peace.
