Inter House Dance Competition – 2026
St. Francis’ School – Jorethang
The Inter House Dance Competition – 2026 was successfully organized at St. Francis’ School – Jorethang, for the students of Classes I to XII. The event was a vibrant celebration of talents, creativity, teamwork, and socio – cultural expression. Students from all the four houses participated with great enthusiasm, passion, zeal and dedication, making the completion a memorable occasion for everyone present.
It is rightly said, “Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” Dance is a powerful medium through which individuals express their emotions, thoughts, and creativity. It not only brings joy and freedom but also serves as a healing and uplifting experience. The participants beautifully showcased their talents through captivating performances that reflected confidence, discipline, creativity, coordination, and artistic excellence.
At St. Francis’ School, various co – curricular and competitive activities are regularly organized to foster the holistic development of students. Such events help children develop teamwork, communication skills, self – confidence, leadership qualities, problem – solving activities, and social skills. They also encourage students to shoulder responsibilities, discover their hidden talents, and learn through meaningful, hands – on experiences. The school remains committed to providing every child with opportunities to grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and creatively.
The Inter House Group Dance Competition culminated on 1st August 2026, with each house presenting dazzling, colourful, and energetic performances that captivated the audience. The stage came alive with vibrant costumes, graceful choreography, rhythmic movements, and remarkable synchronization, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the participants.
The competition was judged by the esteemed panel comprising Sr. Prabha Lakra FC, Ms. Amita Pradhan, and Ms. Veronica Rai, whose valuable observations and fair evaluation added prestige to the event. The school’s Principal, Fr. Kalikotey Robin’s words of encouragement inspired the students to continue nurturing their talents with dedication and perseverance.
The programme concluded on a high note with a spectacular display of vigour, energy, rhythm, and sportsmanship. The Inter House Dance Competition – 2026 was a grand success, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the school's commitment to nurturing confident, creative, and well-rounded individuals.
