total of 34 students appeared for the examination, out of which 28 students have passed and remaining 6 students are compartmental, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 82.35% leaving no students failed this year as well.

A Comprehensive Health Screening Camp for Tribal Students was organized by the Tribal Research Institute and Training Centre, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, and sponsored by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The camp was held on 23rd February 2026 at Ashram Model Residential School, Jushingthang.

The programme began with the arrival of guests, followed by welcome speech by the Principal and a brief report by the Deputy Secretary, TAD. Awareness sessions on Sickle Cell Disease and Tuberculosis were conducted by medical specialists.

The camp provided comprehensive medical services including general health screening, eye check-ups, dental care, mental healthcare counselling, and paediatric care for students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, after which detailed health screening sessions were carried out. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness, early detection of health issues, and overall well-being among tribal students.

Ashram Model Residential School, Jhusingthang (Estd.-2012) a co-educational residential school (Govt. of Sikkim undertaking), calls for registration for admission to class VI for the academic session 2026-27.
The students fulfilling following criteria mentioned in our Rules and Regulations may apply.

1. Applicants must belong to a Tribal Community of Sikkim only.
2. Applicants must be reading in class VI in a government or any recognized school under HRDD.

AMRS participated in the National Level Painting Competition organized on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day. The event was conducted by NTPC in collaboration with NHPC, Power Grid, BHEL, SAIL, and other leading power sector organizations on 14th December 2025. The competition provided a great platform to showcase creativity while spreading awareness about the importance of energy conservation and sustainable development.
