Murkong Selek College proudly congratulates Dr. Bishmita Boruah, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, on the release of the academic volume “Algal Flora of Deepor Beel and Rudrasagar Lake, Ramsar Sites of North East India”, co-authored by her along with Prof. Partha Pratim Baruah, Professor of Gauhati University, and other distinguished research scholars.

The book was officially released by Prof. Nani Gopal Mahanta, Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University, at a programme organized by the university. The volume highlights important ecological and algal research related to the Ramsar wetlands of Northeast India.

This remarkable achievement brings immense pride to the Department of Botany and the entire Murkong Selek College fraternity.

The event was organized by the Department of Mathematics, Arunachal Pradesh University, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Murkong Selek College.

Dr. Arup Kar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics of our college, has published a research article in the SCOPUS and Web of Science (SCIE) indexed Q1 journal _Cellulose (Springer), I.F.: 4.8. The paper is the result of an international collaboration with a research team from Brazil.
