Namaste, Hindi learners and parents!
My name is Sunita and I am excited to support your student in their Hindi journey. I specialize in building a solid linguistic foundation AND sparking a lifelong passion and ease with the language.
My approach is based on 34 years of experience teaching Hindi to students in Indian schools. My classes bring these proven methods to an individualized online experience that helps your student develop a balanced foundation across reading, writing and speaking.
My classes are 40 minutes of both structured exercises and creative activities conducted on Zoom. They typically include:
* Blackboard and chalk! Hindi’s intricate script is best learned with this tried-and-true method.
* Handcrafted visual aids and props. Over the years I have developed an engaging set of photographs and other aids that bring focus and fun to vocabulary.
* Conversation practice. We put learnings into practice right away in conversation.
* Creative storytelling-and-making activities. Bringing it all together in ways that spark creativity and a love of the language!
