William’s Academy Senior Secondary School
William’s Academy Senior Secondary School proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony today with great enthusiasm and dignity, marking the formation of the new Student Council for the academic session 2026–27.
The programme commenced with the auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony by our Honourable Director Sir, Dr. Pankaj Khichi, and Director Ma’am, Mrs. Sunita Khichi, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by the soulful Ganesh Vandana and Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati for a successful and prosperous year ahead.
The cultural programme began with a mesmerizing Yoga performance, where students beautifully demonstrated various yoga postures, showcasing balance, strength, flexibility, and self-discipline. This was followed by an energetic performance on the patriotic song “Jai Ho,” which filled the audience with enthusiasm and pride.
The audience was then captivated by a spectacular cultural performance titled “Dreamers”, presented by the students. The programme became even more exciting as students showcased their talent through synchronized performances and breathtaking human pyramids, reflecting teamwork, confidence, discipline, and determination.
The most awaited moment of the ceremony was the announcement of the newly elected Student Council members. The following students were entrusted with leadership responsibilities:
* Head Boy: Pawan Prajapat
* Head Girl: Ekta Gehlot
* Deputy Head Boy: Utkarsh Sahu
* Deputy Head Girl: Sakshi Gehlot
The school also announced the appointments of the Sports Head, Cultural Head, Discipline Head, Prefects’ Head, along with the Captains, Vice-Captains, Discipline In-charges, Cultural Activity In-charges, and Prefects representing all four houses—Rigveda House, Samveda House, Yajurveda House, and Atharvaveda House. The newly appointed council members took the oath of responsibility and pledged to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, integrity, and service towards the school community.
