IIHT Jodhpur (भारतीय हथकरघा प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, जोधपुर) में 5 दिवसीय हथकरघा उद्यमिता कार्यक्रम का समापन
भारत सरकार के वस्त्र मंत्रालय के अधीन भारतीय हथकरघा प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (IIHT), जोधपुर द्वारा हथकरघा एवं वस्त्र क्षेत्र में उद्यमिता को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से 09 से 13 मार्च 2026 तक पांच दिवसीय “हथकरघा उद्यमिता कार्यक्रम” आयोजीत किया गया। समापन कार्यक्रम में डॉ जन्मय सिंह हाड़ा , जॉइंट डायरेक्टर, निफ्ट मुख्य अतिथि रहे। प्रोफेसर जन्मय हाड़ा ने सभी 20 बुनकरों को हथकरघा क्षेत्र में व्यवसाय करने के लिए प्रेरित किया और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की ! विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री बी बी पाल, पूर्व निदेशक, बुनकर सेवा केंद्र, दिल्ली ने हथकरघा विराशत पर प्रकाश डाला ! अति विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री रवीवीर चौधरी, सहायक निदेशक, हस्तशिल्प ने हथकरघा वस्त्रों की गुणवत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला !
संस्थान निदेशक डॉ शिवज्ञानम के जे ने बताया कि यह कार्यक्रम विशेष रूप से चंदेरी मधयप्रदेश, हिमातासर बीकानेर क्षेत्र के चयनित 20 हथकरघा बुनकरों एवं पारंपरिक हथकरघा वस्त्र क्षेत्र में नया व्यवसाय प्रारंभ करने के इच्छुक प्रतिभागियों के लिए डिज़ाइन, डिजिटल मार्केटिंग, सॉफ्ट स्किल आदि पर जानकारी दी ।
कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पारंपरिक हथकरघा क्षेत्र को आधुनिक व्यावसायिक कौशल एवं नवाचार से जोड़ते हुए ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ के लक्ष्य को साकार करना है।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन भारतीय हथकरघा प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के श्री मनीष माथुर (वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता) द्वारा किया गया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता श्री विक्रम पुनिया ने प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर संस्थान के बी के शर्मा, प्रगति, छीतरमल एवम अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारीगण भी उपस्थित रहे।

WEAVE TO WIN: IHT Jodhpur successfully inaugurated the 2nd Batch of the 5-Day Short Term Training Programme WEAVE TO WIN – Market-Ready Skills for Handloom Weavers, on 9 March 2026.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Jayashri Vajpai, Prof and Dean, MBM University, Jodhpur, who inspired the participating artisans with her insightful address on innovation, skill upgradation, and market orientation in the handloom sector.
The session began with a welcome address by Senior Lecturer Shri Maneesh Mathur, followed by the inaugural remarks from the Director, Sivagnanam KJ, highlighting IIHT Jodhpur’s commitment to strengthening traditional weaving skills with modern market knowledge.
The programme saw enthusiastic participation from weavers representing Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, marking another step towards empowering artisans with practical, market-ready skills. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Vikram Singh, Sr Lecturer, while the programme arrangements were efficiently coordinated by Senior Instructors Smt. Pragati Bajpai and Shri Chhitarmal
