भारत स्काउटस् एवं गाइडस् डीएवी जोन द्वारा 5000 मास्क वितरित किए जाएंगे यह जानकारी भारत स्काउटस् एवं गाइडस् डीएवी जोन के कमिश्नर डॉक्टर धर्मदेव विद्यार्थी ने देते हुए बताया कि उनके स्काउटस् स्थान - स्थान पर सेवा कार्य कर रहे हैं। ये स्काउटस् गरीबों को खाना पहुंचाना तथा मास्क नि:शुल्क वितरित कर रहे हैं ।यह मास्क भारत स्काउट गाइड की शिक्षिकाओं के द्वारा घर पर ही तैयार किए गए हैं। घर पर तैयार किए गए 5000 मास्क डॉक्टर धर्मदेव विद्यार्थी ने भारत स्काउट और गाइड की जिला सचिव श्रीमती सुजाता शर्मा जी को भेंट किए। श्रीमती सुजाता ने बताया कि इनमें से अधिकांश मास्क उन्होंने तथा उनके सहयोगी छात्राओं के द्वारा तैयार किए गए हैं ।यह सभी मास्क नि:शुल्क रूप से जींद में बांटे जाएंगे। के.आर. डी.ए.वी पब्लिक स्कूल जींद की प्राचार्या श्रीमती रश्मि विद्यार्थी ने कहा कि करोना संकटकाल में भारत स्काउटस् एवं गाइडस् के कार्यकर्ताओं ने बेहतर कार्य किया है उन्होंने घोषणा की कि संकटकाल में जिन छात्र-छात्राओं ने भारत स्काउटस् एवं गाइडस् के माध्यम से सेवा कार्य किया है। उन्हें सम्मानित किया जाएगा । सेवा परमो धर्म है यही स्काउट का मूल मंत्र है इसके माध्यम से स्कूली बच्चों को सेवा के संस्कार दिए जाते हैं। ज्ञातव्य है कि भारत स्काउटस् एवं गाइडस् द्वारा डी.ए.वी संस्थाओं को स्वतंत्र मान्यता दी गई है जिसके अनुसार डी.ए.वी संस्थाओं के विद्यार्थी भी स्काउट के माध्यम से सेवा कार्य कर सकते हैं।

जींद जिला प्रशासन की ओर से संत कबीर के चरित्र से बच्चों को अवगत कराने के लिए उनकी जयंती के उपलक्ष में राजकीय कन्या सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, जींद में प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया I जिसमें जिले के सरकारी व गैर सरकारी स्कूलों के बच्चों ने हिस्सा लिया I इस प्रतियोगिता में निबंध लेखन, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता व श्लोक उच्चारण को आयोजन किया गया I इसमें डी.ए.वी. पब्लिक स्कूल, जींद के सितारे भार्गवी ने प्रथम स्थान दोहा उच्चारण में, व वंशिका व हर्षित ने चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता में द्वितीय व तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया I जब यह समाचार डॉ. धर्मदेव विद्यार्थी, क्षेत्रीय निदेशक जी को पता लगा तो उन्होंने बच्चों का ढेर सारी बधाई और शुभकामनायें दी I उन्होंने बच्चों के उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए फोन पर कहा कि हमें जीवन में हर प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लेना चाहिए I इस तरह से प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने से बच्चों का सर्वांगीण विकास का आधार बनता है I इसके अलावा विद्यालय में उपस्थित स्कूल के सुपरवाइजरी हेड श्री प्रवीन कुमार व श्रीमति रीमा वालिया ने बच्चों को आगे भी इसी तरह से मेहनत व लगन से कार्य करते रहने के लिए उत्साहित किया I

Dear School Best Friend,

High school. It’s almost mind-blowing how just a string of two words have the power to rush a thousand emotions in your head. Emotions, memories, people. For most of us (read, all of us), high school is a tough time, and I’m so glad I had you by my side through it. I hope I speak for everyone when I say that the worst part of high school is the end of it. For me, however, it was worse, because I had to learn how to function without having you around all the time. And to be honest, I haven’t been doing a good job.
Meeting you was an accident. But then, Master Oogway says, “there are no accidents.” We were partners in crime against the world (literally, sometimes). From the same choices in everything, to crying and cribbing about boys all day long, to writing each other mushy letters, to getting excited for each other’s birthdays, to cheering each other up with hugs and kisses, to our secret photographic rendezvous, to completing each other’s sentences without any effort, to third-wheeling on dates, to fantasizing about books and the future, to sticking through stupid fights with each other and other people, to learning to stay in touch without actually being in touch. My mother still thinks you’re the only good friend I’ve ever made, and my dad still thinks that my crying fit over leaving the Science section for the Arts was because of you. My landline misses the time when I was constantly glued to it to talk to you, because it acts up with the internet connection a few times every month. And my heart yearns for your name when they ask me about a best-friend. We were kids back then, and we didn’t know a lot about life. But it’s almost magical how we knew we’d stick tight through it all, and get old together.
It warms my heart that I know someone as strong and beautiful as you. So here’s a toast to my soul-sister, a once-in-a-lifetime kind of a person. You hold a special place in my bruised heart.
