Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Bakrid, is one of the most sacred and joyful festivals celebrated by Muslims across the world. It is known as the “Festival of Sacrifice” and commemorates the devotion and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) towards Allah. The festival teaches important values such as faith, patience, kindness, sacrifice, and generosity.
On this special occasion, people wake up early, wear clean or new clothes, and gather in mosques or open grounds to offer Eid prayers. Families and relatives greet each other with love and say “Eid Mubarak.” Delicious dishes and sweets are prepared, and homes are filled with happiness and celebration.
One of the most meaningful parts of Eid-ul-Adha is helping the poor and needy by sharing food, gifts, and happiness with them. This festival reminds everyone about the importance of caring for others, spreading peace, and living together with unity and compassion. Eid-ul-Adha brings people closer and fills hearts with gratitude, love, and joy.
