📻 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🎙️
As part of experiential learning, the students of Laxmi Vikash Global School, Jeypore visited All India Radio (AIR), Jeypore on 20th August 2026. The visit gave students of Std. IV to VII an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the functioning of a professional broadcasting organisation.
During the visit, students explored various aspects of radio broadcasting, including programme planning, script writing, news reading, recording, editing, sound management and transmission. They also observed the functioning of the studio and learned about the roles and responsibilities of professionals involved in radio production.
The interaction with AIR personnel helped students connect their classroom learning with real-world applications while developing a deeper understanding of mass communication, journalism, broadcasting and media production.
✨ The experience also encouraged students to appreciate the importance of clear communication, voice modulation, teamwork, accuracy and professional discipline, while gaining awareness of career opportunities in the media and communication field.
A meaningful learning experience that reminded our students that learning happens beyond the classroom too! 📻🎧
