Emotional Farewell Ceremony Held in Honour of Mr. B. K. Pandey
An emotional and dignified farewell ceremony was organised today at DAV Public School, Jehanabad on the occasion of the retirement of the school’s respected Social Science teacher, Mr. B. K. Pandey. The programme was organised to express gratitude for his long, sincere, and dedicated service to the institution.
The ceremony began in the morning with a Yajna and Havan, attended by the Principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, and invited guests. Vedic mantras were chanted, and prayers were offered for the welfare of the school and society, as well as for Mr. Pandey’s healthy and happy future.
After this, the stage programme commenced and was smoothly conducted by Shri Chitranjan Kumar. A devotional bhajan was presented by the music teacher Mr. Hemant Pathak, creating a calm and devotional atmosphere. Senior teachers Mr. S. B. Sahu, Mr. Jitendra Kumar, and Ms. Nirupama Tiwari shared their thoughts and spoke about Mr. Pandey’s discipline, dedication, and caring nature.
During the programme, another bhajan was presented by music teacher Ms. Sneha Kumari. Teacher Mr. Ghanshyam Pandey also presented a heartfelt song, which deeply moved the audience and added emotional warmth to the occasion.
Later, senior teachers Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh and Mr. S. C. Tiwari praised Mr. Pandey and described him as an ideal teacher and a guiding mentor. In his address, Mr. B. K. Pandey thanked the Principal and colleagues and shared his teaching experiences.
The Principal, Mr. K. K. Pandey, appreciated Mr. B. K. Pandey’s valuable contribution to the school and remarked that dedicated teachers are the real strength of any institution. He wished him a bright and happy future.
The felicitation letter was read by Mr. B. N. Singh and presented in the presence of the guests. The Principal honoured Mr. B. K. Pandey with a shawl, bouquet, and a gift as a mark of respect.
The programme concluded with the collective recitation of the Shanti Path, followed by the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Nirupma Bharti, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, and organisers for making the programme successful.
