*Annual Sports Day – Dev International School, Ratnupur, Jaunpur (12 – 14 December)*

The three‑day extravaganza that kicked off on 12 December was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment the school gates opened, the campus buzzed with energy, colorful banners, and the steady thump of drums that set the perfect rhythm for the festivities.

The opening ceremony started exactly at 9 a.m. on 12th December and each event ran on schedule, which kept the momentum alive.
Over 300 students from Play Group to 12 took part, showcasing a wonderful mix of talent—sprints, relay races, long jump, basketball, Chess and even a tug‑of‑war that drew cheers from the crowd.
The “Friendship Cup” award for the house with the best overall spirit highlighted the emphasis on camaraderie over competition. It was heartening to see classmates cheering each other on, regardless of the outcome.
The closing ceremony on 14 December featured a dazzling march‑past, a short cultural skit by the senior students, and the awarding of medals. All in all, the annual sports day was a resounding success—a celebration of fitness, teamwork, and school pride that will be remembered for years to come. Kudos to the organizing committee, the teachers, and every participant who made it a memorable event.
