3 days (25-27 May) hands on training programme on "Molecular tools and techniques" is organized by Department of Biotechnology. World renowned scientist from BHU Prof. Gyaneshwar was chief guest for inaugural session. He interacted with students and shared his work and experiences. Prof. Chaubey delivered a lecture on his recent work about Ajnala (Punjab) massacre where 282 soldiers were brutally murdered and buried in a well by Britishers during 1857 mutiny. In his lecture he told how he and his team did hard work to find the native places of those massacred soldiers through forensic studies of their DNA.

On 18/05/2022 a scientific trip was organized by Department of Biotechnology for MSc Biotechnology students. Destination for this trip was Genome Foundation Centre.
