Only a labourer like me knows how much hard work it takes to survive. My husband and I work on daily wages - sometimes on construction sites, sometimes in factories and sometimes in fields. We can afford only two-square meals for our family with both our earnings. For us, every single rupee is valuable. We are poor, but poverty is no excuse for missing out on education. Nothing matters more than our child's education. We have never been to school, but I believe only education will lead us from darkness to light."
