The school celebrated the vibrant festivals of Diwali and Chhath with a special assembly on 29th October,2024, Tuesday. The event aimed to foster cultural awareness and appreciation among students.
Students from various grades showcased their talents through a series of performances. The program included traditional dances, melodious song,Chhath musical skit and an act depicting the story of Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya. 13 सितंबर 2024, शुक्रवार को हमारे विद्यालय में हिंदी दिवस का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर छात्रों और शिक्षकों ने मिलकर हिंदी भाषा की महत्ता और उसकी सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को मनाया।कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन से की गई। इसके बाद छात्रों ने हिंदी कविता, नाटक , श्लोगन और भाषण प्रस्तुत किए, जिनमें हिंदी भाषा की समृद्धि और उसकी भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया। विशेष रूप से, कक्षा 10 के छात्रों ने "हिंदी भाषा का महत्व" पर एक नाटक प्रस्तुत किया| छोटे बच्चों ने कविता प्रस्तुत किया।

Art provides an outlet for self-expression and allows students to explore their emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Integrating art into the classroom can help students cope with stress, develop self-confidence, and improve their overall mental health.
Students were awarded with certificates in different categories for showing their unique artistic skills .Congratulations to all the winners and participants for showing great enthusiasm.

Rakhi-Making Competition at Delhi World Public School Jamshedpur

Delhi World Public School organized a Rakhi-Making Competition on 16th August for students from Classes 3 to 12. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing their creativity and artistic skills through beautifully crafted Rakhis. The Rakhis, designed with vibrant colors and intricate details, reflected the students' dedication and love for the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

The Annual "Van Mahotsav Day" was organised in the school premises of DWPS.
The event begins with simple but effective speech about the Importance of Trees.
Students of Class LKG- II brought saplings and went on a plantation drive with a number of medicinal and flowering plants.Students vowed to nurture the planted saplings and conserve trees in their small possible ways.

Christmas Celebration at DWPS
The Christmas means,’’Feast day of Christ’’.It is a yearly celebration marking Christ’s birth. Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand”
Remember, ‘’if Christmas isn’t found in your heart, you won’t find it under a tree’’.
Children at DWPS celebrating this festive by performing dance, music, songs (carol), skit etc. They also played a skit based on Jesus birth; it was really a wonderful performance by the students. Toddlers danced on the song, ‘Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle All the Way’. One child was made Santa and he distributed chocolates all among the students and blessed them for bright and prosperous future.
