Vidya Jyoti School is an English Medium Co-Educational Institution affiliated to the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi. However Hindi has a vital role in the curriculum and is taught daily in all classes. The intellectual education at WS is liberal and universal but at the same time it is Indian and firmly rooted Indian history and tradition, and according to the regulation made by the CBSE Board. The curriculum, therefore embraces, Moral Instruction, English Language and Literature, Hindi Language and Literature, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies, Social Studies, Computer science Sanskrit and Anta and Crafts. Since education at WS is conducted in English and high standard of English is required for succeeding in the CBSE examination, the use of English in the school campus is compulsory. Regular attendance, alertness in class, performance of regular class work and revision, are sufficient to make progress. Parents could make the class teaching even more valuable, if they speak in correct English and Hindi te their children at home.
