Job Description

As the Nursery Teacher , you will understand children and their needs and believe in teaching, and working towards their overall development.

Key Responsibilities :

~ Organizing and leading activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
~ Teaching basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
~ Providing a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
~ Observing and evaluating children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
~ Reading books to entire classes or to small groups.
~ Encouraging language development through the use of storytelling, rhyming games, and acting games.
~ Assisting children in the improvement of social skills by encouraging the children to work and play together.
~ Counselling parents when classroom difficulties or behavioral problems arise.
~ Consulting with other professionals where there appears to be evidence of learning disabilities or problems of social adjustment.
~ Promoting positive behaviour from children and assisting in establishing good standards of behaviour throughout the nursery.
~ Participating in faculty meetings, educational conferences, professional training seminars, and workshops.
~ Maintains effective and efficient records/documents.

Desired Candidate Profile

~ Certified NTT candidates will be given advantage.
~ Female Candidates needs to apply.
~ Responsible, proactive, dependable, self-disciplined and dedicated.
~ Ability to act in a discreet manner and work in a cooperative and effective manner.
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
~ 2-4 yrs. experience in any reputed school.
