The Interact Club of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park, Bistupur, organised a Blood Donation Camp with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of blood donation and encouraging the spirit of service among the students and the school community.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from our respected Principal Sir, teachers, members of the sub-staff, and students of Classes XI and XII, who came forward voluntarily to donate blood for this noble cause. Their participation reflected the values of compassion, selflessness, responsibility, and service to society.

The camp was a meaningful initiative by the Interact Club and successfully spread the message that every drop of blood can be a gift of life. The collective efforts of the school community made the event a memorable and purposeful endeavour, reinforcing the spirit of Seva and social responsibility.

Our Vidyalaya reverberated with devotion and spiritual fervour as teachers, students and staff came together to celebrate Ganesh Puja. The sacred puja was performed by our respected Vice Chairman Sir, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, prosperity and the well-being of all.

Adding to the festive spirit, our adorable pre-primary students participated in delightful activities , celebrating the occasion with joy, creativity and enthusiasm. The celebration reflected the values of devotion, togetherness and cultural appreciation cherished by our Vidyalaya.

To commemorate Hindi Diwas, a series of engaging literary activities and competitions were organised at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park, from 7th to 12th September 2026. The celebrations provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, linguistic skills, confidence and love for the Hindi language.

The spirit of Janmashtami came alive as our little UKG stars joyfully participated in a creative Bansuri (Flute) Making Activity!

With tiny hands, bright smiles and boundless imagination, the children crafted their very own colourful flutes, celebrating the divine charm of Lord Krishna and the enchanting music of His bansuri.

"Sanskrit is not just a language; it is a treasure trove of India’s rich cultural heritage."

Sanskrit Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm during the school assembly. The programme highlighted the importance and richness of Sanskrit through a variety of engaging presentations.

A student spoke about the significance of Sanskrit, followed by an introduction to gender in Sanskrit grammar. Students also presented beautiful shlokas, along with Shreshthachar words and their meanings, inspiring everyone to embrace good values and conduct. Students from Classes 5 to 8 enthusiastically participated in these activities. The celebration concluded with a melodious Sanskrit song, adding a graceful and traditional touch to the assembly.

The programme was an enriching experience that encouraged students to appreciate the beauty, heritage and timeless wisdom of the Sanskrit language.

Our little learners of UKG A/B explored the colourful world of fruits and vegetables through a fun and engaging modelling clay activity. They shaped and moulded soft, vibrant clay into different fruits and veggies, giving wings to their imagination and creativity.

The activity helped strengthen their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creative expression, while making learning joyful and hands-on.

"Healthy habits today build a stronger and more confident tomorrow.”»

A meaningful session on Health and Menstrual Hygiene was conducted for the girl students of Classes 5 to 8, led by the girls of Class 11.

The session focused on creating awareness about menstrual health, personal hygiene, nutrition, self-care and the importance of maintaining a positive and informed approach towards menstruation. The senior students shared valuable insights and encouraged the younger girls to openly understand and discuss this important aspect of health.

The session was an enriching experience that promoted awareness, confidence, dignity and healthy practices among the students.
