XLRI Jamshedpur observed World Su***de Prevention Day on 10 September 2026 through Team Akeera, the Institute’s Mental Health & Well-being Community.

Under the theme Small ribbons. Bigger conversations., posters were placed across campus and yellow ribbons (a symbol of su***de prevention and hope) were shared with students.

The effort was a simple reminder that it is okay to reach out, okay to talk, and that no one has to face difficulty alone.

A small gesture can open an important conversation. XLRI remains committed to a campus culture of care, dignity and support.

XLRI Jamshedpur celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, faculty, staff and members of the XLRI community for a joyful celebration of devotion, culture and togetherness.

The campus came alive with festive energy as everyone came together to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna and the values of love, kindness and righteousness that his teachings represent. The celebration featured devotional music, traditional festivities and an exciting Dahi Handi celebration, adding to the festive spirit and creating memorable moments beyond the classroom.

The celebration was a beautiful reminder of the vibrant community at XLRI and the joy of coming together to celebrate our traditions and festivals.
