✨XLRI Jamshedpur successfully conducted the prestigious Doctoral Colloquium 2024, held from April 8-10, 2024.
The overarching theme of this event is Artificial Intelligence and sustainability.
🪄In the event, 117 papers were received from five countries - India, Nepal, Oman, Spain, and the UK. These papers were reviewed and finally, the authors of 62 papers have registered for the event. These 62 papers include 19 authors that are affiliated with XLRI and 43 affiliated with other Universities and Institutions. This makes 75 participants attend the event, which includes 20 participants from XLRI and 55 from other Universities and Institutions.
The event also featured seven workshops. Attendees had the opportunity to benefit from a workshop by Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan (Pro Vice-Chancellor [Management, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences]; Director [TAPMI, Manipal]; T.A Pai Chair Professor of Finance; Dr. T.M.A. Pai Endowment Chair in Management Research) on how to revise and resubmit in top journals. Aspiring Researchers got the opportunity to get a holistic idea of how to develop conceptual papers from a research workshop on writing conceptual articles by Prof. Shaphali Gupta, PhD (Mani Ayer Chair Professor of Marketing, MICA, Ahmedabad). Participants were also enriched by a research workshop by Prof. Ashish Pandey (Professor, IIT Bombay) on developing constructs in the Indian context.
We also invited Prof. Sanjay Patro, (Dean-Academics & Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur) for a research workshop on innovative teaching pedagogies, Prof. Sumeet Sarkar (Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur) for two research workshops on game theory and computerized lab experiments, and a Prof.
Ameet Banerjee (Associate Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur) for a research workshop on Signals and Spillover.
