What if your first salary could change the lives of 120 children?
This inspiring story of Sneha Sharma shows how one small act can create a big impact. A government school teacher from Begusarai, she decided to spend her very first salary not on herself, but on underprivileged children who needed basic school supplies.
Sneha bought school bags, water bottles, and stationery for 120 children studying at a local informal school called “Baccho Ki Pathshala.” Many of these children earlier carried their books in plastic bags or cloth, which made learning difficult and uncomfortable. Her thoughtful gesture gave them not just useful items, but also dignity and confidence.
What makes her story even more special is her long-term commitment. Sneha is not just a donor but also a co-founder of the school, where she has been teaching slum children for over five years. She spends time every day helping them study and grow, showing true dedication to education.
Her story went viral after being shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan, with many people praising her kindness and selfless effort.
This story reminds us that real change starts with simple actions. Sneha Sharma’s journey is a beautiful example of compassion, education, and giving back to society.
