Three Bihar parties to try luck in Assam polls
While CM Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and former Union Minister Upendra kushwaha-led RLSP hvae decided to solo, Bihar's main opposition RJD has decided to contest alliance with the congress-AIUDF-led Grand Alliance in Assam. 

Source in JD(U) said the party has made to contest at least 32 assembly seats out of a total of 126 in Assam on its own. JD(U)'s Assam incharge and MLC Gulam Rasool Baliyawi, and Bihar's rural development minister Shrawan Kumar reached Guwahati on Friday to take a final call in the number of seats the party would contest.

Sourses said Balyawi and Shrawan would hold a series of meeting ith local JD(U) leadrers and workers at different places in Assam on March 6 to take stock of the situation. Both leaders are expected to hold a press conference in Guwahati on March 7 to announce the party's plans.

'I am cobra, can kill in one bite', Mithun Chakraborty after joining BJP
NEW DELHI: Putting weeks of speculation to rest, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty joined the BJP at a mega Kolkata rally on Sunday.

Chakraborty, a former TMC Rajya Sabha member, was welcomed to the party fold by BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and state president Dilip Ghosh amoung others.

Addressing a sea of supporters at the Brigade Parade Ground after joing the saffron party, the National Award winning actor said that the BJP has given him a platform to fulfill his aspiration.

The actor-politician also borrowed a dialouge from one of his flims, saying that he is a " a cobra who can kill people in one bite."
