A Hindi Debate Competition was successfully conducted in the school premises with enthusiastic participation from students. The event aimed to enhance students’ Hindi language proficiency, public speaking skills, and critical thinking ability, while also encouraging them to express their views confidently on socially relevant topics.
The Competition proved to be an enriching and educational experience, fostering linguistic skills, confidence, and a spirit of healthy competition among students.

A calligraphy activity was successfully conducted in our school Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia with the objective of improving students’ handwriting, creativity, and aesthetic sense of writing. The activity aimed to develop patience, concentration, and an appreciation for beautiful writing among students.

Arshi Maruf of Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia participated in the 17th Senior and Junior National Jump Rope Championship 2025–26, which was held at Jaspuriya B.Ed college, Ranchi. The championship witnessed the participation of around 500 players from various states across the country, making the competition highly competitive and prestigious.
She won two Gold Medals and one Silver Medal, bringing great pride and honour to her institution.

A two-days CBSE training programme on “Competency-Based Assessment (Generic)” was successfully conducted at Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia. The programme aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding of competency-based education and assessment in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and CBSE guidelines.
The resource persons Suparna Roy, Vice Principal of D.B.M.S. - Kadma High School & Gunjan Malhotra, Vice Principal of NML Kerala Public School, Agrico focused on shifting from rote learning to conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and application-based learning.

Our school celebrated Christmas and New Year with great joy and enthusiasm on the school premises. The celebration aimed to spread happiness, unity, and festive spirit among students and teachers.
The programme began with a short prayer, followed by a welcome speech by one of the students. The school campus was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, stars, lights, and colourful charts. Students came dressed in festive clothes, which added to the joyful atmosphere.
Various cultural activities were organised, including Christmas carols, dances, skits, and songs. One student dressed as Santa Claus distributed sweets and chocolates to everyone, which made the younger students very happy. Teachers also encouraged students to share messages of love, kindness, and peace.

Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia, organized a three-day Winter Camp 2025 for its students as part of its co-curricular activities during the winter season. The camp aimed to promote holistic development, enhance student engagement outside regular academics, and encourage teamwork, creativity, and physical wellness.
Students from various classes participated actively in all three days of the camp. Teachers and staff supervised and guided the students throughout the event.

The Annual Sports Meet of Govind Vidyalaya was celebrated with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit on 20th December 2025 at Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia.
The programme began with a formal inauguration ceremony. Our Chief Guest, Mr. Avtar Singh, renowned master of athletes a renowned sports coach, hoisted the school flag and declared the meet open. This was followed by a colourful march-past by students of different houses, which impressed everyone with its coordination and discipline.
Various sports events were conducted for different age groups. Students participated with great excitement and competitive spirit. The audience, including teachers and parents, cheered enthusiastically for the participants.

Today, in the remembrance of Vijay Diwas, the students of Govind Vidyalaya,Tamulia were addressed by Sri Surendra Prasad Maurya, Junior Warrant Officer, Indian Air Force, along with Sri Havaldar Narendra Kumar of the Indian Army. The students were enlightened about the significance of Vijay Diwas, the bravery, sacrifice and courage of our Indian Armed Forces.

CBSE in-house teachers training held at Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia on 13th Dec’ 2025 conducted by Mr. Rajat Jaiswal as Resource Person on the topic CBSE Retirement Planning.
The Training was all about saving money through SIP and mutual funds. The training aims to empower the teachers with knowledge for a post – retirement planning.
