Have you ever wanted to talk about something you did regularly in the past but don’t do now? 🤔

That’s where USED TO comes in!

👉 “Used to” describes a past habit, routine, or situation that is no longer true.

🗣️ Everyday Examples

✅ I used to wake up early.
હું પહેલાં વહેલા ઊઠતો હતો.

✅ She used to live in Mumbai.
તે પહેલાં મુંબઈમાં રહેતી હતી.

✅ We used to play cricket every evening.
અમે પહેલાં દર સાંજે ક્રિકેટ રમતા હતા.

✅ They used to be good friends.
તેઓ પહેલાં સારા મિત્રો હતા.

✅ He used to smoke, but he doesn’t now.
તે પહેલાં ધૂમ્રપાન કરતો હતો, પરંતુ હવે કરતો નથી.

⚠️ IMPORTANT GRAMMAR RULE

After USED TO, always use the base form of the verb.
