Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing, Bhalwal, Jammu, organised a SEBI Smart Investor Awareness Programme on *7-8-26* to promote financial literacy and create awareness about safe and informed investment practices among students and faculty members.
The programme was conducted by( Financial Advisor)Mr C.S. Nitin, who delivered an informative and interactive session on smart investing, financial planning, investor protection, and the importance of making informed financial decisions.
He explained various investment options, including mutual funds, equity markets, and government-backed investment schemes.
He also educated the participants about identifying fraudulent investment schemes, safeguarding themselves from cyber fraud, and understanding the rights and responsibilities of investors.
During the session, Mr C.S. Nitin emphasized the importance of developing sound financial habits at an early stage and encouraged students to make disciplined and informed investment decisions for long-term financial security.
The programme also highlighted the investor education initiatives undertaken by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
