Shri Mohd Hassanain Rocky Convener Student Cell BJP Kargil UT Ladakh, Shri Ali Murtaza and President SEMOK met with Shri Ashok Koul State General Secreatry (Org) BJP Ladakh and J&K at Party Headquarter Jammu and discuss various issues facing by Unemployment Youth and request to arrange IL 72 aircraft among others issues the following issues have taken with State General Secreatry Org BJP Ladakh and J&K UT.

1. Timebound establishment of Ladakh Public Service Commission: Sir, it has been over two years since the inception of the UT Ladakh. Moreover, a considerable period of time has passed since the notification of the LRC. However, there is no news for recruitment of the gazetted posts in UT Ladakh whereas on the other hand our sister UT, J&K has already advertised hundreds of gazetted posts. Furthermore, I would like to bring to your kind notice that a large number of highly educated but unemployed youth are facing immense mental trauma in wake of their debarment from applying to gazetted post in UT J&K and the delay in advertisement of gazetted posts in UT Ladakh.
Keeping in view the passage of precious time of the young aspirants, I would like to request your hon’ble to kindly take time bound action for establishment of Ladakh Public Service Commission so that justice could be served to students who have been preparing for such posts for the past many years.

2. Establishment of Ladakh Service Recruitment Board: The current arrangement of recruitment for non-gazetted posts through SSC is not feasible in the long run. Your hon’ble self must not the fact that the SSC has already been failing to conduct its own exams on time and to declare its own results in time. Therefore, we request you to kindly take steps to establish a separate recruitment board for UT Ladakh on the lines of the JK-SSRB.

A Second round of meeting was called by the All Ladakh Students Joint Action Committee Jammu at Ladakh House ALSAJ Office Jammu. The meeting was attended by Presidents and executive members of SEMOK, ALSAJ, WMSF, ALSWAJ, AZSAJ,District Convener Students Cell BJP Kargil UT Ladakh . The meeting was called to discuss Establishment of LPSC,SCC Exams Syllabus and recruitment rules . The Joint action committee decided to put farward the memorandum to the elected representatives and UT administration Tomorrow.
The meeting ended with a word of thanks from the President of ALSAJ and decided to meet after few days to do further course of action and fight for the common issues of students of Ladakh in a united manner and if there demand should not be fulfilled.

ALSWAJ calls upon Hon'ble member of Molana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India

Aga Syed jamal Acting President ALSWAJ called upon Shri Ashraf Ali Sheikh, Hon'ble member MAEF, Ministry of Minority Affairs at office of ALSWAJ at Boys Hostel Channi. The meeting was also attended by Executive members of ALSWAJ, Warden Boys Hostel and District Convener Students Cell BJP Kargil UT Ladakh. The hon'ble member gave a patience hearing to the students issues and assured to take all possible measures to resolve the issues. The hon'ble member also promised to visit the boys hostel in future also.
The president ALSWAJ and convener students' cell BJP thanked the hon'ble member for sparing time to listen to the issues of the students community from his busy Schedule.

A meeting was called by the All Ladakh Students Joint Action Committee at Kargil Boys Hostel Channi. The meeting was attended by Presidents and executive members of SEMOK, ALSAJ, WMSF, ALSWAJ, District Convener Students Cell BJP Kargil UT Ladakh and Students. The meeting was called to discuss various issues of students regarding admission and recruitment rules announced by the UT administration of Ladakh recently. The Joint action committee decided to put forth the following issues faced by the students before the UT administration which are as follows.
1. All graduate students irrespective of their streams should be made eligible for Account Assistant Job.
2. Declaration of pending result of class IV.
3. Age relaxation for Sub Inspector and constable exam in the Ladakh Police.
4. Establishment of Bed colleges in Ladakh.
5. Identify and issue ALC certificates for Border residents of Ladakh.
6. The status of seat reservation for the students of Ladakh in the Cluster university of Jammu and for post graduation in the University of Jammu be maintained.
7. A separate recruitment agency of Ladakh be established for Gazetted and non Gazetted posts.
8. The recruitment rules for Gazetted posts should be released and the LRC be made the basis on the line of non Gazetted posts.
9. Release of Standard calendar and syllabus of examination, so that the students can prepare accordingly.
10. 75% of the post of Naib Tehsildar has been reserved for promotion and only 25% left for direct recruitment as mentioned by the UT administration in the recruitment rules. The Joint action committee has reservations against this specific rule and suggest to reserve only 50% for promotion and the remaining 50% for direct recruitment. So that the unemployed youth of Ladakh could get an opportunity.
The meeting ended with a word of thanks from the acting president of ALSWAJ and decided to meet in future to discuss and deliberate on the common issues of students of Ladakh in a united manner.
