Tomorrow the world celebrates the 550th Prakash Utsav.
The humanity was blessed with the birth of a saint Sri Baba Guru Nanak Dev ji.
He had later settled in what is today referred to as Sri Kartar Pur Sahib. During partition, this holy place and the Gurudwara Sahib ( known as Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib) went under the Pakistani control.
Guru Sahib after his missionary travels had lived there for 18 years until he merged into Godhood in 1539.
We bow in reverence to the holy Guru Sahib who is worshipped the world over as our first Guru in the Sikh Panth.
