AISECT Holds Get-Together Meeting with Vocational Trainers at TFC Kargil
Kargil, 21 July 2026: AISECT organized a get-together meeting with its Vocational Trainers at the Tourist Facilitation Centre (TFC), Kargil. The meeting was attended by AISECT Zonal Head Mr. Mudasir Ahmad, State Coordinator Mr. Abid Hussain, and Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kargil, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk.
The meeting provided a platform for meaningful interaction between the AISECT management, the Education Department, and Vocational Trainers. During the discussion, several important issues related to the welfare and professional development of Vocational Trainers were raised, including the Training of Trainers (TOT) programme, salary hike, SSC certification, and the organization of guest lectures to enhance the quality of vocational education in schools.
The Vocational Trainers shared their concerns and suggestions, while the AISECT officials assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for necessary action.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Education Officer Kargil, Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, appreciated the dedicated services of the Vocational Trainers in strengthening skill-based education across the ladakh. He assured the participants that the issues discussed during the meeting would be addressed on a priority basis and that every possible effort would be made to resolve them at the earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, AISECT Zonal Head Mr. Mudasir Ahmad and State Coordinator Mr. Abid Hussain reaffirmed AISECT's commitment to improving the working conditions, capacity building, and professional growth of Vocational Trainers through regular training programmes and constructive engagement with the Education Department.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work together for the effective implementation and continuous improvement of vocational education in the schools of Ladakh.
