This picture spread rapidly across all of Germany. The famous German magazine Der Spiegel investigated the photo and began searching for the Indian young man seen in it. The search finally ended in Munich, where it was discovered that the young man was living there illegally.
The journalist asked him: “Did you know that the blonde girl sitting next to you was Maisie Williams—the heroine of the famous series Game of Thrones? She has millions of fans around the world who dream of taking just one selfie with her, yet you didn’t show even the slightest reaction. Why?”
The young man calmly replied: “When you don’t have a residence permit, don’t have even a single euro in your pocket, and travel every day on the train ‘illegally,’ you don’t really care who is sitting next to you.”
Impressed by his honesty and condition, the magazine gave him a job as a postman, with a monthly salary of 800 euros. Because of this employment contract, he immediately received a legal residence permit—without any difficulty.
This story reminds us that no one knows when and from where sustenance will come. What matters is not letting hardships overpower you. Do not lose hope—your opportunity will surely come someday. Trust in your Creator.
