GGHSS Rehari Jammu Scripts History with 13 Top Positions in Board Exams.

Jammu, April 23: In a momentous achievement for Govt Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Rehari Jammu, the institution has secured 13 meritorious positions in the recently declared CLASS 12TH Examinations,.
The stellar performance spans all streams: one position in Science, seven in Commerce, and five in Humanities. The school premises erupted in jubilation as students and teachers danced to the rhythmic beats of the dhol, celebrating the hard-earned success with unbridled enthusiasm.

The celebrations gained further prestige with the gracious visit of the Honorable MLA Sh. Arvind Gupta Ji and Worthy CEO Jammu Sh. Ajeet Sharma. Both dignitaries blessed the students, lauded the school's exemplary results, and commended Principal Sh. Jyoti Parkash Shastri for steering the institution to this landmark milestone.

Worthy Principal Sh. Jyoti Parkash Shastri and Sh. Tilak Raj Sharma showered blessings on the toppers, joined by the entire staff.

The 100-day 'Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir' campaign was officially launched by Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha from M.A. Stadium today. The LG flagged off the programme and led a massive awareness march from the stadium towards the Jammu city. Thousands of students, officials, and members of the general public participated in the rally, showing strong support for the mission to make Jammu and Kashmir drug free. Glimpses:-

Jammuiyat: Sahitya-Sanskriti Samagam (Jammu):-

The University of Jammu is hosting a two-day cultural and literary festival starting today on 13th March which aims to explore and express the unique cultural identity of the Jammu region through dialogue and creativity.

A large number of students and teachers participated in this festival, which featured vibrant performances, traditional dances,
a diverse array of stalls showcasing local heritage, including traditional handicrafts (pottery, handlooms and paintings), regional food cuisines, and literature.

A meeting regarding Samagra AWP&B 2026–2027 was held on 05/03/2026 under the chairmanship of the CEO Jammu. The meeting was attended by the DEPO Jammu, the Deputy CEO, and the Samagra teams from various ZEO offices. Various issues regarding the formulation of Samagra AWP&B 2026–2027 were discussed in detail.

The CEO Jammu recommended that Zonal Level Committees should be constituted and UDISE data should be considered while formulating the plan. Moreover, the plan should be vetted by the concerned Hon’ble MLA’s by the Zonal Level Committees before being submitted to the District Office.
