NITS Polytechnic is proud to be a partner institution in the FutureX Programme, which has selected a limited number of institutions across the country to provide students with greater exposure to industry practices, emerging technologies and real-world applications.

Students of the Civil Engineering Department gained valuable insights into the cement manufacturing process, quality standards, technology and industry practices.The session provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect classroom learning with practical industry knowledge and understand the evolving requirements of the construction sector.

🛡️ Five-Day Civil Defence Basic Training Course

Five-Day Civil Defence Basic Training Course was organised by Civil Defence, Jammu, under the Directorate of HG/CD & SDRF J&K for the students of NITS Polytechnic.

The training programme aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills related to disaster preparedness, emergency response, first aid, rescue techniques, fire safety and civil defence, helping build a more aware, prepared and resilient community.

Such initiatives play an important role in empowering citizens to respond effectively during emergencies and contribute to the safety and well-being of society.
