**Rich Heritage School Celebrates Silver Jubilee with a Vibrant Cultural Showcase**
Jammu, September 26: Rich Heritage School, Bakshi Nagar, celebrated its Silver Jubilee today at K L Saigal Hall, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, marking 25 years of its journey in nurturing young minds. JKAS Sunaina Mehta, HoD, Revenue Training Institute was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, she highlighted the vital role of cultural activities in the holistic development of children, particularly in building confidence and personality. She urged parents to encourage children to pursue arts, hobbies and sports, observing that meaningful engagement in these activities can help keep children away from excessive mobile-phone use, addiction and other harmful influences. The kindergarteners presented a colourful and lively cultural programme, featuring a rendition of We Shall Overcome, group dance, a skit on “Save Trees”, Punjabi folk dance, a Bollywood dance performance and a vibrant ramp show set to Dogri music by renowned musician, Anmol Amla, the Director of Rich Heritage School. In his address, he cited examples of innovative teaching methods at Rich Heritage School and expressed his gratitude to the educators and parents for supporting the school consistently. The gathering also celebrated the remarkable leadership of Mrs. Mira Amla, Principal of Rich Heritage School, who founded and has led the institution for a quarter of a century. Her vision of transforming the community by nurturing empathetic, confident and culturally rooted children was widely appreciated on the occasion. Geetika Kohli Amla, Co-Director and a writer and public speaker, presented the highlights of the institution’s 25-year journey and unfolded its vision for the future. She also recited her Hindi poem “Param Satya Ka Naya Darpan”, which received warm appreciation from the audience. The Chief Guest lauded the teaching faculty for their meticulous preparation and praised the children for their confident performances. The teachers present on the occasion included Mrs. Renuka Gupta, Mrs. Jyoti Sharma, Mrs. Jasmine Kour, Mrs. Pooja Vohra and Ms. Sakshi Chib. Former teachers Mrs. Savita Manchanda, Mrs. Archana Sehgal and Mrs. Sonia Jamwal were honoured for their contribution to the institution. Mrs. Amarjeet Kour, representing the non-teaching staff, was also felicitated. The event was hosted with grace and precision by Anahita Sharma. Among the other dignitaries present was Mrs. Aanchal Gupta.
