Mega PTM – Classes 10th & 12th
We held our Mega PTM today for Class 10th and 12th, and it turned into a day of honest and meaningful conversations. Parents and teachers reviewed the pre-board results together, discussed each child’s progress, and understood what needs a little more focus before the Board exams. The entire interaction stayed warm, supportive, and truly helpful.
The CEO Jammu also visited the school during the PTM and interacted with parents and teachers, adding encouragement and clarity to the process.
Teachers offered simple, clear feedback to parents highlighting strengths, pointing out areas to work on, and sharing how we can collectively support the students in the coming weeks.
Our Principal Dr. Kishor Sharma shared:
“This PTM helped us understand each student better and set clear targets for the next few weeks.”
A positive and purposeful day overall ,a reminder that when school and home work together, our students always gain confidence and direction.

Celebrating Mahanavmi , Dusshera & Gandhi Jayanti at Ranbir Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Wing of Government Sri Ranbir Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu celebrated the festivals of Mahanavmi and Dusshera with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Our tiny tots, dressed as Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, and other Ramayana characters, beautifully depicted the eternal message of the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood. Their innocent smiles and vibrant costumes filled the atmosphere with festive joy.
🕊️ On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, some children came dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, reminding us all of Bapu’s timeless teachings of truth, non-violence, peace, and simplicity.
The program was organized under the able guidance of our respected Principal, Dr. Kishor Sharma, whose vision inspires the nurturing of cultural values alongside academics in our young learners.
🙏 May these teachings and festivals continue to guide our children in becoming responsible citizens of tomorrow.

🏆 SRML HSS Boys Crowned Champions! 🏐

We are proud to share that our school boys’ volleyball team has emerged winners of the final match at the Volleyball Tournament (22nd–25th September 2025) organized by IRP 15th Battalion, Gulshan Ground Jammu under the Civic Action Programme 2025-26.
The tournament witnessed spirited participation from teams across Zone Jammu, Zone Miran Sahib, Pahari Hostel, Zone Satwari, Zone RS Pura, Zone Bishnah, Zone Gandhi Nagar, and Gujjar Hostel.
In the grand finale, our SRML HSS team showcased extraordinary skill, teamwork, and determination, securing the coveted title of champions.

Today, our school participated in the ATL Sarthi Launch Event organized at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. ✨
Out of 23 projects selected from the Jammu Division, two talented young innovators of Class 12th ,Kashish Langay and Bibanshu Pal had the honor of representing our school. They presented their innovative project with great confidence and enthusiasm, truly reflecting the spirit of future leaders in science and technology.
They were ably escorted and guided by our ATL Incharge, DrTalvinder Singh, whose constant mentorship continues to inspire our budding minds.
We also extend heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed Principal, Dr.Kishor Sharma, for his visionary leadership and constant encouragement that motivates students to explore, innovate, and excel.

An audit of the school building was conducted by the worthy Principal, Dr. Kishor Sharma, along with the school staff after the recent spell of heavy rainfall. During the inspection, all sections of the building, including classrooms, corridors, laboratories, and essential facilities, were thoroughly checked to ensure safety and readiness before the reopening of the school.The Principal issued necessary instructions to the staff for further preparations, with a focus on strengthening the building infrastructure, water drainage, electrical fittings, and sanitation facilities. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring that all precautionary measures are in place so that students may resume their academic activities in a safe and conducive environment.The school administration is committed to completing all required arrangements at the earliest to guarantee the well-being and security of students as they return to the campus.

Today our students and teachers of Govt. SRML Higher Secondary School, Jammu walked together in the Mega Tiranga Rally organised by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
This was not just a march, it was an emotion – the joy of holding our Tiranga high, the pride of chanting together, and the warmth of capturing those little moments on the way. From our students’ laughter to our teachers’ selfies with the Tiranga, every click was a memory of love for our motherland.
Our Principal, Dr.Kishor Sharma, led the contingent with his inspiring presence, motivating students and staff to walk not just with flags in their hands, but with patriotism in their hearts. 🙏🇮🇳
This was our third rally in just a few days,yet the energy never faded. Instead, it grew stronger, reminding us that patriotism isn’t just about occasions, it’s about the everyday spirit we carry in our hearts.

🇮🇳 SRML Jammu Paints the Town in Tricolour – Second Tiranga Rally in Just a Few Days🇮🇳

Patriotism is not just taught at Government Sri Ranbir Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu — it’s lived and celebrated.
In yet another proud moment, the school held its second Tiranga Rally within a week, proving that the spirit of the tricolour runs deep in every SRML heart.

Flagged off by Hon’ble MLA East Jammu, Shri Yudhvir Sethi-J & K in the presence of Principal Dr.Kishor Sharma and SHO Pacca Danga, Shri Rakesh Manni, the rally set off from Parade, weaving through Pacca Danga, and returning to the school amid cheers and chants.

Students marched in perfect discipline, proudly waving the national flag, their voices echoing:
“Tiranga hamara gaurav hai, Tiranga hamari shaan hai, Tiranga hamari pehchaan hai!”
(तिरंगा हमारा गौरव है, तिरंगा हमारी शान है, तिरंगा हमारी पहचान है।)

Addressing the gathering, Shri Yudhvir Sethi Ji inspired the youth to uphold the values of unity, service, and commitment to the nation. Principal Dr. Kishor Sharma praised the students’ zeal and called them “the true torchbearers of India’s future.”
