BIG UPDATE FOR INDIAN PASSPORT APPLICANTS! ๐ฎ๐ณโ๏ธ
The Government of India has announced a revised passport fee structure, effective 1st July 2026. If you're planning to apply for a new passport or renew your existing one, now is the best time to do it and save on fees.
๐ Revised Passport Fees (Effective from 1 July 2026):
๐น 36-Page Passport (Normal): โน1,500 โก๏ธ โน2,500
๐น 60-Page Passport (Normal): โน2,000 โก๏ธ โน3,500
๐น 36-Page Passport (Tatkaal): โน3,500 โก๏ธ โน5,000
๐น 60-Page Passport (Tatkaal): โน4,000 โก๏ธ โน6,000
Replacement Passport (Lost/Stolen/Damaged):
๐ธ 36-Page (Normal): โน2,000 โก๏ธ โน5,000
๐ธ 60-Page (Normal): โน3,000 โก๏ธ โน6,000
๐ธ 36-Page (Tatkaal): โน3,500 โก๏ธ โน7,500
๐ธ 60-Page (Tatkaal): โน4,500 โก๏ธ โน8,500

Apply before 1 July 2026 to avoid the increased fees.

Passport validity remains 10 years for adults.

Existing appointments before the effective date will follow the current fee structure.

Online application process remains unchanged.
