KCPS DELEGATION TO RSIC-2026 ARRIVES SAFELY IN SYDNEY : SEP 27
Our delegation from KC Public School comprising Chairman Mr Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director Mrs Arti Chowdhary, Round Square Coordinator Mr Manoj Kapoor and 5 students reached Sydney, Australia, safely today evening. They also met up with Mrs Rajbir Sandhu, Schools' Support Director of South Asia and Gulf Region at Delhi airport before departure. Apparently, she too travelled in the same flight.
Here are some pictures and video clips of their journey we have received from Mr Manoj Kapoor. They appear so very cheerful at departure from Delhi and arrival in Sydney.

Five student delegates and I, as their es**rt teacher, are all set to depart for RSIC 2026 in Sydney, Australia.
We are excited to embark on this enriching journey which will open a new chapter of learning, meaningful connections, cultural exchange and opportunities to meet and interact with young people from across the world.
We look forward to representing KC Public School, Jammu and making this journey a memorable experience for all of us.

KCEANS REACH FINAL STAGE OF QUIZ CONTEST HOSTED BY MAYO COLLEGE AJMER
KC Public School participated in the prestigious Padmashree JTM Gibson Quiz held at Mayo College, Ajmer on September 25, 2026. The event brought together 12 reputed schools from across the country making it a highly competitive platform for young quizzers.
The participating schools included host school Mayo College Ajmer, Bishop Cotton School Shimla, Scindia School Gwalior, Mayo College Girls’ School Ajmer, Sunbeam School Lahartara, Emerald Heights International School Indore, St. George’s College Mussoorie, Vasant Valley School New Delhi, Welham Girls’ School Dehradun, Mayoor School Ajmer and KC Public School Jammu.
The preliminary round tested the teams on a wide range of challenging questions that demanded sharp thinking, extensive knowledge and quick recall. The quiz was conducted by renowned quiz master Mr. Thejaswi Udupa, whose distinctive style, innovative rules and engaging approach created an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the competition.
Demonstrating impressive knowledge, teamwork and presence of mind, KCPS team comprising of Abhay Wanchoo and Shrihaan Gupta successfully secured a place among the six finalists that included Vasant Valley School, Scindia School, Sunbeam School, Mayoor School and Bishop Cotton School.
The final round introduced an engaging strategy that placed the onus on the teams to take calculated risks. The provision of negative marking ensured that success depended not merely on being fortunate with questions but on making informed decisions and demonstrating confidence and strategic thinking.
At the conclusion of the closely contested final, Sunbeam School Lahartara emerged winners, followed by Vasant Valley School New Delhi and Scindia School Gwalior securing the second and the third positions respectively.
For KCPS students, reaching the final round was a matter of great pride. The competition provided them with a valuable opportunity to test their knowledge, strengthen their analytical and decision-making skills and interact with some of the finest young quizzers in the country.
