✍️ Gandhi Jayanti Celebration at B.N. Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan

B.N. Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a special assembly to honour the life and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

The assembly featured speeches by students on various aspects of Gandhiji’s life, along with poems dedicated to him. Teachers also shared inspiring thoughts on his principles of truth, non-violence and peace. A melodious song and an engaging skit highlighting his values added to the significance of the occasion.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, paying tribute to the Father of the Nation and his enduring legacy.

B.N. Higher Secondary School commemorated the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on 22 September 2026 with a special assembly.

Students and teachers delivered insightful speeches highlighting his life, contributions, and significant role in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. The programme provided students with an enriching opportunity to learn about the legacy of the great Maharaja.

✍️ Educational Visit to Deaf & Dumb School, Jammu

B.N. Higher Secondary School organised an enriching educational visit for a selected group of students from Classes 8th to 10th to the Deaf & Dumb School, Residency Road, Jammu on 22-09-2026. The visit provided students with a meaningful opportunity to interact with the children of the school and gain a deeper understanding of their learning experiences, abilities and challenges. The interaction helped our students develop greater empathy, sensitivity, respect and appreciation for individual abilities.
The Principal of the Deaf & Dumb School warmly welcomed the students and shared valuable insights about the students, their education, communication methods and overall development. His interaction proved highly informative and inspiring. The visit was a memorable learning experience beyond the classroom, reinforcing the values of kindness, inclusion, compassion and respect for all.

✍️ Proud Achievement for BN HSS Jammu

We are delighted to share that our student Shoib Manazzar participated in the U/19 Inter-District Division Level Kabaddi Championship, held from 11 September 2026 to 15 September 2026 at the Indoor Stadium, Doda, representing the Jammu District Team.

We are proud to announce that the Jammu District Team emerged as the Winner of the Championship.

The entire BN HSS Jammu family congratulates Shoib Manazzar on this remarkable achievement and wishes him continued success in his sporting journey.
