B.N. Higher Secondary School recently organized an engaging and enjoyable Table Manners Activity for students from Nursery to Grade 5.

During the activity, students learned and practiced essential dining etiquette, including the proper use of utensils, saying “please” and “thank you,” chewing with their mouths closed, and clearing their plates responsibly.

Through interactive role-play and collaborative activities, children discovered that good table manners not only make mealtimes more pleasant but also promote cleanliness, safety, and respect for others.

Our dedicated mother teachers and class teachers consistently guide students in developing these valuable habits, reinforcing the belief that small habits learned today lead to lifelong courtesy and good character.

✍️ B.N. Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan Jammu, held an Inter-Class Debate Competition for Classes 9th to 12th on the topic “Use of Technology in Human Welfare.”

Students from various classes participated enthusiastically, presenting strong arguments both for and against the topic, reflecting their confidence, communication skills, and critical thinking.

The competition was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Gunjan, Ms. Shama, and Mr. Talab Hussain, whose support ensured a well-organized event.

The program highlighted the school’s dedication to fostering public speaking, analytical ability, and awareness among students through meaningful participation and expression.

A special Mother’s Day assembly was held at B.N HSS Sunjwan Jammu with great enthusiasm to honor the love, care, and sacrifices of mothers.
Students presented touching speeches, songs, and performances to express their gratitude and celebrate the special bond between mothers and children. The event was filled with warmth, joy, and heartfelt appreciation.

Poetry Magic at B.N. Higher Secondary School…

Our tiny poets from Classes 3rd to 5th shone bright in the inter-class Poetry Recitation on May 8, 2026 Judged by the Ms. Vijeta Rani, a senior lecturer along with Ms Noreen who loved their confidence and flair.

Our students dominated the Inter School Zonal Level Sports Competition at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Nagar, Gandhinagar Zone (District Jammu from May 5 & 6, 2026)

District Level Selections:
• Kabaddi U/14: Faizan Ahmed (Class 9th)
• Kho-Kho U/14: Burhan Ahmed (Class 6th), Pakir Hussain (Class 6th)
• Kabaddi U/17: Mufaid Ahmed (Class 9th)

In U/17 Kabaddi, our team reached the finals against K B Public School, showcasing outstanding teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship securing a proud runners-up spot!
