Today is Republic Day, a very important day for our country. It’s not just a regular date on the calendar, it’s the day when our Constitution came into effect in 1950, making India a democratic and sovereign republic. As we approach Republic Day 2024 75th, there’s a lot of excitement. It’s a time to think about our country, come together, and celebrate.

Celebrating AZADI KA MAHOTSAV
75 Years of Independence

Principal Mam, staff members and students of Jammu Public Hr. Sec. School, Sainik Colony Jammu participated in a National Flag rally organised as a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga programme, called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in Sainik Colony. We gave small Indian National Flags to the kids and also made them aware of its significance.
The event was conducted in the district as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.

Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and promote awareness about the tri-colour.
