JP World School Plants 150 Trees in Collaboration with
SSB | 20 August,2026, Jammu: JP World School took a
significant step towards promoting environmental
sustainability by organizing a tree plantation drive in
collaboration with the 07 Battalion SSB, Jammu. During the
drive, students, teachers, and SSB personnel came together to plant 150 saplings in and around the school
premises. The motto of the plantation was ‘Go Green, Love
your Environment.’

The initiative aimed to create awareness among students
about the importance of protecting the
environment and contributing to a greener future. The
plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from
students who actively planted and nurtured the saplings
under the guidance of their teachers and SSB officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the school’s Principal Ms.
Aparana Kohli, appreciated the efforts of the
students and the support extended by SSB. She
highlighted that such activities not only help in
improving the environment but also instill a sense of
responsibility and environmental consciousness among
young learners.

The officers from SSB also encouraged the students to take
care of nature and emphasized that
small initiatives like tree plantation can bring significant
positive change for the planet.

The event concluded with a pledge by the students to
protect and nurture the planted saplings and to continue contributing towards a cleaner, greener,
and healthier environment.

Through such initiatives, JP World School continues to
encourage students to become responsible citizens and
active contributors to environmental conservation..
