" INAUGURATION OF CHENAB ARMY PRE PRIMARY SCHOOL-III

Major General Kulpreet Singh, Patron, Chenab Army Pre Primary School, Akhnoor and Mrs. Naveeta K Singh, Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation inaugurated the new building of Chenab Army Pre Primary School-III located in Karnail Singh Vihar in Akhnoor Garrison, today. The School is run under the Army Welfare Education Society. Major General Kulpreet Singh, in his inaugural address, emphasized the importance of education in today's world and highlighted the important role being played by Pre Primary Schools in empowering Army children, especially those of Junior Commissioned Officers and other ranks. They went around the premises of school and interacted with students and teachers.

Chenab Army Pre Primary School-III, Akhnoor came into existence in the year 1980 and was functioning from an adhoc building. The new building has six well laid out classrooms with thematic pictorial stories. The classrooms provide a lively environment with colourful furniture and paintings. The building also has an activity room for extra-curricular activities and provide conducive educational environment.
