Congratulations to Hersha Rajput for securing first rank in the Poster Making Competition organized by the School of Humanities and Liberal Arts to celebrate the 77th Independence Day as part of a series of activities under the theme "Meri Maati Mera Desh."

Under the aegis of AKAM, Department of English organised Patriotic Song Competition and Poster Making Competition on the themes Independence 2.O and Unity in Diversity respectively to mark the celebration of 75 years of Independence. Students of different semesters enthusiastically participated in the events. Ikmancheet of Semester 8th stood first in Poster Making Competition and the group of 4th semester comprised of Hakeema, Mahoora and Iram stood first in Patriotic Song Competition . The event was judged by Prof. Amitpal, Associate Professor, Prof. Bharti, Assistant Professor, and Mohd. Ashraf, Assistant Professor of Govt. M.A.M College. The event was coordinated by Dr Indu Sharma and Vote of Thanks was given by Prof. Kamaljot Kour and attended by Prof. Banpreet Kour, Head, Department of English and Dr. Jeet Singh.

The Department of English, School of Humanities and Liberal Arts organized a Cleanliness Drive under the aegis of G20 in which students of all the semesters participated. The theme of the activity was "Green Indian, Clean India". The awareness campaign was aimed to sensitize the students regarding the values of our cultural ethos and the preservation of natural biodiversity to ensure healthy living and survival.
