Today, our school witnessed some truly heartwarming moments as students celebrated Mother’s Day with love, gratitude, and pure emotions. The children beautifully expressed their feelings by making handmade cards for their mothers and calling them through teachers’ phones just to say a simple yet meaningful “Thank You” under the Guidance of Worthy Principal sir Mohinder Sharma

The joy on the students’ faces and the emotional reactions of the mothers made the celebration even more special. Many mothers became emotional hearing their children’s sweet words and seeing the effort and love behind every handmade card. 🌸

SP Rural Jammu Inaugurates One-Day Volleyball Tournament at HSS Domana
Jammu, March 25, 2026:
The one-day volleyball tournament was successfully inaugurated at Higher Secondary School Domana under the Civic Action Programme by SP Rural Jammu, Shri Brijesh Sharma, JKPS. A total of 08 teams from different parts of Jammu are enthusiastically participating in the event.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of SDPO Domana, the Principal of HSS Domana, SHO Police Station Domana, and other police officials, who interacted with the players and motivated them.
Addressing the participants, SP Rural Jammu encouraged the youth to stay away from drugs and negative influences, and to engage in positive and constructive activities like sports. He emphasized the values of discipline, teamwork, and physical fitness as key elements for success in life.
He also highlighted that such tournaments provide an excellent platform for promoting sportsmanship and identifying young talent. Appreciating the spirit of the players, he motivated them to maintain coordination, dedication, and a high level of fitness.
The event aims to inspire youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and participate in meaningful activities that contribute to their overall development.

A Mega Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully organized in GMHSS DOMANA to strengthen the partnership between parents and teachers. On this occasion, the Class 9th results were declared, and the students who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance.
Our respected Principal Sir (Sh. Mohinder Sharma ) addressed the parents, highlighting the importance of their active involvement in their children’s education and overall development.
The event was further graced by the presence of Sarpanch Mr. Vikram, whose motivating words encouraged both students and parents. The school community appreciates the continued support and cooperation of parents in nurturing the bright future of our students.

Last year, in the National Level Green School Program Audit, our school achieved the Orange level. This year, we have progressed to the Yellow level, which is truly a matter of great pride and happiness for us.
It is very encouraging to see that we have shown improvement in all major areas - Air, Energy, Food, Land, Water, and Waste. This achievement has been possible because of the strong leadership of our respected Principal Sir and the continuous support and dedicated efforts of our staff and students.
Now, we are just one step away from reaching the Green level. We will definitely strive hard to achieve that milestone next year as well.
