Trikuta Degree College successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “New Age Teaching Techniques” from 28th January to 30th January 2026 at its campus.The aim of the workshop was to train teachers for a blended mode of learning and teaching which is one of the objectives of NEP. This FDP focussed on enhancing the professional competence and pedagogical skills of faculty members in higher education.
A series of sessions were organized by expert Mr. Md Aadil (Learning and Development Soft Skill Trainer) of ICT Academy of Tamilnadu.
The FDP witnessed active participation from faculty members of various departments and institutions under the trust. Renowned academicians and subject experts served as resource persons and delivered insightful sessions on topics such as innovative teaching methods, research methodology, outcome-based education, use of technology in teaching etc.
The program was inaugurated by Chairperson Mrs Suman Sharma, who emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for educators to meet the evolving demands of the academic ecosystem. Mrs. Sunita Sharma highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and capacity building of teachers.
Interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and panel discussions provided participants with practical exposure and opportunities for collaborative learning. The FDP concluded with a valedictory session during which certificates were distributed to the participants.
The Faculty Development Program proved to be a significant step toward fostering innovation, academic growth, and quality teaching practices among educators.
