🌟Parenting Tip of the Week | SIS Jammu 🌟
_"The way you speak to your child today becomes the way they speak to themselves tomorrow."_
At *Srijan International School, Jammu*, we believe that parenting is the foundation of a child's emotional strength.
Gentle words build confident minds.
Respectful parenting creates respectful children.
Every word we choose as parents becomes the inner voice of our children. Let’s make that voice kind, encouraging, and empowering.
Together, let’s raise a generation that believes in itself.
*Watch. Reflect. Practice.* 💙

Celebrating the unconditional love, strength, and guidance of every father at our school’s Father’s Day celebration 💙✨
Today was filled with smiles, emotions, laughter, and beautiful moments as our little stars expressed their love and gratitude for their superheroes — their fathers. From heartwarming activities to special performances and memorable video moments, every child made this day extra special. 👨👧👦🌸
A father is a child’s first hero, first protector, and biggest supporter. Through this celebration, we aimed to teach our students the importance of love, respect, and appreciation for parents. 💫
Thank you to all the wonderful fathers for being a constant source of inspiration and strength in your children’s lives. Happy Father’s Day! 💐

🌍 12th June | World Day Against Child Labour 🚫👶
"Children are meant to learn, not to earn."
Today our school observed World Day Against Child Labour – an ILO-sanctioned day first launched in 2002 to raise awareness and activism against child labour.
Our students took the lead! 🎭
A powerful Nukkad Natak was prepared and performed by students of Classes 8–10 to highlight how child labour steals childhood, dreams, and the right to education.
Key messages from the skit:
"Kitaben do, auzar nahi" – Give books, not tools
Every child belongs in school, not at a worksite
Education is the strongest weapon against exploitation
Say NO to child labour. Say YES to education 📚
The skit showed real situations: a child forced to work at a dhaba, a girl missing school for household work, and how community action + education changed their future.
What can WE do?
Never employ a child under 14 years – it’s illegal
Report child labour on Childline 1098
Support education – help 1 child stay in school
Spread awareness – talk, share, act
Our students proved: Bachpan bachao, desh banao!
Proud of our young changemakers from Samba who raised their voice today. The pen is mightier than the hammer. Let children hold pencils, not bricks.
Stop Child Labour. Start Education. ✋📖

🎉 PTM 2026 – A GRAND SUCCESS AT SRIJAN! 🎉
From Kindergarten to Grade XII, our campus was buzzing with energy, smiles, and meaningful conversations during the Parent-Teacher Meeting 2026!
The day was more than just progress updates — it was a vibrant experience for all. 📚 Book stalls opened new worlds for young readers, while ERP stalls, Trinity College London, British Council, and various information counters gave parents key insights into academics, skills, and global opportunities.
Add to that fun games and interactive zones, and the campus truly came alive with learning, laughter, and connection. 💫
Thank you to all parents for your enthusiastic participation and to our team for making PTM a celebration of growth and partnership.
At Srijan, we don’t just discuss progress — we celebrate it together!

Grade V Celebrates Climate Action! 🌍🌱
“Our Planet, Our Future, Our Responsibility”
This World Environment Day – June 5, 2026, our Grade V Srijanites are stepping up for Climate Action!
The 2026 global theme reminds us that every small step counts to reduce pollution, save energy, and protect nature. Our young eco-warriors learned how climate change affects animals, weather, and our own health — and how we can help!
What Grade V Did for Climate Action:
🌳 Plant a Promise: Each student planted a sapling and pledged to care for it.
💡 Energy Savers Squad: Switched off unused lights and fans in classrooms.
🚲 No Vehicle Day: Many students walked or cycled to school to cut emissions.
♻️ Best Out of Waste: Created useful items from plastic bottles and old newspapers.
🎨 Poster Making: Designed colorful messages on “Act Now for Climate” displayed in school.
Our message is simple: You don’t have to be big to make a big change!
Thank you to our Grade V teachers and students for showing that climate action starts with us. Let’s keep our Earth cool, green, and clean — not just today, but every day!
Happy World Environment Day! 💚
