1. Govt approves 4-Pillar Strategy to Strengthen India’s Shipbuilding & Maritime Sector
The Union Cabinet, led by PM Modi, cleared a ₹69,725 crore framework to boost domestic shipbuilding, financing, shipyard capacity, skills & policy reforms.

2. India & Australia sign MRA for Organic Products
A Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) was inked to facilitate trade in organic produce, strengthening their economic ties.

3. MoD signs deal for 97 Tejas Mk1A jets
The Ministry of Defence finalized a contract worth ₹62,370 crore with HAL for 97 Tejas Mk1A aircraft for the Indian Air Force.

4. RBI issues Digital Payment Authentication Directions (effective April 2026)
New guidelines were released to strengthen security for digital payments and authentication.
