Ranjit Global School Celebrates Mother’s Day
An impressive Mother’s Day celebration was organized by Ranjit Global School at the Sensorium Hall of Ranjit College of Education yesterday. The programme was chaired by Dr. Manmeet Singh.
The grand event was held under the supervision of Dr. Baljinder Kour, where students from various classes presented colourful dance performances on English, Hindi, and Punjabi songs. A meaningful skit was also presented, highlighting the role and responsibilities of children towards their mothers after marriage and during old age.
A special yoga performance was presented by Ms. Kiran Bala, Teacher of Ranjit College of Education, along with Ms. Monika, Teacher of Ranjit Global School, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Manmeet Singh appreciated the school for presenting a spellbinding programme depicting the role of a mother as the first teacher in a child’s life. He emotionally shared the inspiring journey of his mother, Sardarni Ranjit Kour Ji, aged 84, who was born in Pakistan and entered her matrimonial home in humble circumstances. He stated that she successfully fulfilled the roles of a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, besides serving as an effective retired government teacher. He described her as a role model, a source of energy for the family, and an inspiration for the educational institutions being run with the active support of his father, S. Ranjit Singh Ji.
Dr. Baljinder Kour appreciated the efforts of teachers Sachana Manhas , Sapna Sharma, and Anchaldeep Kour for organizing the programme successfully. She especially praised the little anchors Jasleen Kour and Aditpaul Singh for their confident stage performance. She also thanked the staff of Ranjit College of Education, the supporting staff, and the dignitaries present during the programme.
On the occasion, a token of appreciation of Rs. 11,000 was presented by Dr. Manmeet Singh from his personal account to encourage and boost the morale of the students and teachers for their outstanding efforts in making the celebration memorable.

.Today, a Fancy Dress Competition was organized at Ranjit Global School for toddlers to support their personality development. All the children performed wonderfully with great confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. Among the best performers, winners were selected from different classes. In Nursery Class, Jiyana secured 1st position, Sukhman got 2nd position, and Jaskirat achieved 3rd position. In LKG Class, Mannanjit secured 1st position, Yashasvi got 2nd position, while Ratinder and Kaira shared 3rd position. In UKG Class, Ananya secured 1st position, Manseerat got 2nd position, and Bhavishya with Divya shared 3rd position. The event was held in the Sensorium Hall of Ranjit College of Education and was chaired by Dr. Manmeet Singh, who distributed gifts and prize awards jointly with Dr. Baljinder Kour and the teachers of Kindergarten to the kids. A heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their continuous support and encouragement.

Baisakhi Celebrations at Ranjit Global School & Ranjit College of Education
The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy by Ranjit Global School and Ranjit College of Education at the Sensorium, RCE. The event witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and supporting staff, who presented a variety of colorful cultural performances reflecting the rich heritage of Punjab.
The celebrations were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Baljinder Kour, Principal of Ranjit Global School. The program was filled with joy, showcasing traditional Punjabi attire, folk dances, and lively performances that created a festive atmosphere.
The function was chaired by Dr. Manmeet Singh, Chairman, who, in his address, congratulated everyone on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. He emphasized the importance of unity, brotherhood, and preserving the spirit of Indian indigenous festivals, inspiring all to uphold these values in their lives.
In her welcome address, Dr. Baljinder Kour extended heartfelt greetings and highlighted the historical significance of Baisakhi. She spoke about Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who established the Khalsa Panth, nurturing pure and courageous individuals committed to protecting the rights of all and standing firmly against injustice, irrespective of caste and creed.
The program was gracefully anchored by Ms. Manikdeep Kour, B. Ed Pupil- Teacher who conducted the proceedings in a befitting and engaging manner.
Overall, the celebration was a beautiful blend of culture, tradition, and values, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and joy.
