Today, on 18/05/2023 an event was organised under 'Mission Life' in Block Reasi of Reasi Forest Range under the close supervision of Range Officer Reasi and overall supervision of worthy DFO Reasi Ms. Jyotsana IFS focussing changes in " Lifestyle Of Environment".

The event was mainly focused on the challenges to Environment and was organized on the topic "Mission life Campaign : 2023 " in which alongwith officers and field staff of Reasi Forest Range, Soil Coservation Range Reasi, N.C.C cadets and students of GHSS. Reasi , " One Stop Centre " an institute working under Dept. Of Social Welfare also participated.

The programne started in the shape that started from Division Office Complex moved via Thapa Chowk and culminated at GHSS. The participants of rally chanted slogans "Save Water , Save Life " ; "Clean India , Green India " and Hariyali Lao Desh bachao " .
The participants also carried
placards displaying Environment saving messages and mottos urging the public in general to change lifestyles as compatible to the Environment.
The Pledge ceremony was conducted in the premises of GHSS Boys , Readi in the p.o. Principal Manoj Lal Jad, ANO, Amit Gupta , B.O. Reasi Arvind Bargotra , Office bearers of Gen.Zorawar Singh Trust and Team leader OSC, Sonali Pandoh .
Later Block Forest Officer Reasi and Diksha Kaluria , founder Gen. Zorawar Singh Trust also addressed the participants about Mission Life Campaign , 2023 and elaborated seven key themes of the Mission.
Later, Reasi Forest Range served resfreshment among all the N.C.C. cadets and other participants.

The event was concluded with the address by Principal and Range officer Thakrakote with the Plantation cm distribution of plants and cleaning up of ancient Bowli at Domail.

Also staff from other sister wings like Department of Social Forestry and Water and soil conservation Reasi also participated actively in the event.
