Christian community feels empowered with abrogation of Art 35A: BJP State General Secretary Sh. Yudhvir Sethi

Abrogation of Article 370/35A has been a long awaited and most cherished decision of the Government. Everyone barring a few political dynastic beneficiaries have welcomed the decision and complimented the Prime Minister and Home Minister for this bold decision in face of all threats hurled by the so called mainstream politicians who exploited the State for seven decades and fooled the people.
This was stated by Sh. Yudhvir Sethi, General Secretary State BJP unit while welcoming the people of Christian Community into party fold.
Sh. Yudhvir Sethi stated said that repeal of Article 370 was a long pending demand of nationalist people of J&K but the issue was always used by various political parties just for vote bank politics, without caring for the aspirations of people. By removing the controversial Article 370, the BJP Government at the Centre has fulfilled the long pending demand of Jammu people, which is really appreciable, she added.
Sethi said that Christian community is feeling elated over the decision of ending the special status, which had become a source of their deprivation. With landmark decision of abrogating Articles 370 and 35A they feel empowered, he said.
Sh. Yudhvir Sethi asserted that the after the abrogation of Article 370 people of J&K from all sections of society have welcomed the landmark decision of abrogating Articles 370 and 35A and wishing to be part of the world’s largest political party.
“People of J&K and Ladakh are feeling a sense of accomplishment, not only for end to psychological barriers but with regard to opportunities in development. They genuinely feel that the era of discrimination will be a nightmare of the past,” Sethi asserted.
Jammu District President & Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee JMC, Sh. Baldev Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has duly acknowledged the aspirations of the people of whole of the country who had pinned their full faith on him for scrapping the Article 370. He expressed confidence that this will usher in a new era of fostering and hastening pace of development in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and will put a full stop to separatist forces and terrorism.
Sethi hoped that the joining of members of Christian community will strengthen the party and the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a better future of the nation.
Prominent among those who were present included Vennu Khanna, Anil Masoom Corporator, Kartar Mahajan, Parveen Kerni, Suhdir Anand, Vinod Gupta (Bablu), Gulshan Mahajan, Adarsh Kumar, Vineet Gupta and Angral ji.
