BSF School Jammu held its Investiture Ceremony with great pride and dignity on July 21, 2025, marking the official appointment of the Student Council for the academic session 2025–2026. The event was organized to instill a sense of leadership, responsibility, and service among the students.

The ceremony began with the pinning of badges and flaps to the newly elected council members by the Principal, Dr. S.K. Shukla, along with senior staff members. It was a moment of honor and pride as the student leaders took a solemn pledge to uphold the values of the school and serve their fellow students with dedication and sincerity.

Milanjot Singh was appointed as the School Captain, while Mohd. Sami and Garima Sharma were elected as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively. Tanisha Hangloo was designated as the Overall Coordinator for the session.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. S.K. Shukla emphasized the importance of duty, discipline, and commitment. He congratulated the newly appointed leaders and reminded them that leadership is not just about holding a title, but about carrying the responsibility with integrity and being role models for others. He encouraged them to lead by example and contribute positively to the school environment.

The ceremony reflected the school's commitment to nurturing future leaders and encouraging students to take initiative in shaping their own learning journey. It also offered a platform for the young leaders to take charge and display their capabilities in organizing and managing various school activities.

The event concluded with resounding applause and enthusiasm from the entire school community, symbolizing a fresh beginning and a hopeful vision for a productive academic year ahead. WORLD CARTOONISTS' DAY CELEBRATED WITH FLAIR AT BSF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL JAMMU

BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu, under the guidance of Principal Dr S.K Shukla, celebrated World Cartoonists' Day with great enthusiasm and creativity.
The event, a first in the school's history, saw students from different classes showcase their cartoon-making skills on various themes such as population, environment, drug abuse, politics, and more.

An exhibition of the cartoons was displayed in the school premises, where students and teachers gathered to appreciate the creative work. The event provided a platform for the students to express their thoughts and opinions on various issues through the medium of cartoons.

The school's initiative to celebrate World Cartoonists' Day aims to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and social awareness among its students. The event was a huge success, with students and teachers alike praising the talent and creativity on display.
